Abigail's School Pictures

My baby is getting big.  She truly eats more than her sister.  Normally she finishes her plate and looks to Riley's plate to get her leftovers.  Abigail is very vocal on her likes and dislikes.  Very quick to show you her muscles if she is not getting her way.  At the same time she is the best cuddle buddy and gives kisses freely.

Thought I would share pictures from Riley's preschool.  She loves her class and all of her friends.  She pretends to be the teacher at home.  We got a note the other day that she likes to play hide and seek when it is time to help clean up.  I asked where she hid and her teacher stated behind the play kitchen, but the kicker is she only hides her head.  Nice!

Like Mother like Daughter ~ 5K style

I began my training for the Army 10 Miler a couple of months ago.  My official motto for the race is "Beat the Bus."  I know I wont have the best time, I just don't want to have the slow bus pulling up next to me and make me get on.  I refuse to quit.

So, my first 5K without Brent beside me had me timed at 32 minutes.  Nice since the last one I did was 45 minutes.  (Hey I was pushing the joging stroller...and it was my first 5K EVER!!!!)

I was so proud when I came down the last hill and there was Brent and the girls meeting me and running the last leg to the finish with me.

Afterward, Riley ran in the Kids Run.  She looked like a pro.  The photog got her every step of the way.

I plan to keep you all posted on my runs in the next few weeks.  Hope that my time just continues to get better.

Vacation

The white sandy beachs are calling my name. Abigail was in heaven playing in that sand. The waves were perfect and the girls had a blast. I didn't take a ton of pictures, our batteries went out in the camera we took and we were just to lazy to get any other batteries. (Hey, I'm honest.)

Dance Recital

Riley has been working so hard to get her dance steps down. Last night was her big debut. The fourth act on the stage brought out Riley and her monochromatic friends. The video isn't the greatest as I had Abigail in one arm and the video camera in the other. But the pictures are good.
